Deathbyplatforms x Cole Vintage Giveaway!!!!

This is gonna be my first time to join blog giveaways and I am pretty excited to know if I was picked or not. :) Well there is just something about surprises that leaves me breathless and excited! Just the fact that it will be a step towards knowing amazing people who has become your inspiration in your everyday life, is just downright amazing.

I see these people go miles on what they love to do and admire them for being unique and confident of what they are, of what they have become and what will they be in the future. I was never the kind of person who finishes anything. I'd like to start and sometimes, I forget about it and end up halfway done or somehow feels inadequate. The nearest I have been consistent in updating, is Facebook. That alone, sound pretty lazy. I don't know. Maybe I'm in a middle of nowhere in thinking of what would I really love to do or how am I suppose to start and actually finish anything. What I would really want myself and how am I suppose to kill time on corporate world has been taking almost half a decade of my life already.

I'm pretty sure of one thing though, that I've got hots for shoes that it actually feels therapeutic. I have been following Kookie's blog and admire her for her exquisite taste that it actually made me feel to start one for myself. I'm not anything close in giving give-aways. :) The fact that I was able to put through a blog like this that I would love to go back over and over again and be able to see different inspirations and sends me to some unknown "drug" that puts you to sleep and dream about inspiring people as well, is just a part of me, being contented of what I am, of what I have become and what I will be in the future.

For the Love of Wedge

These are few of my babies which I haven't worn yet. Lately I have been dying to wear it but since I am in the office 5 days a week and weekends are spent most of the time sleeping or walking (I've been missing a lot of events lately), there has been no chance to wear them. Tonight, I'd like to stare at them before I sleep. :)

The Girl In Me!

One thing I like most about online-shopping is the time when you have to wait for it to come and surprise you with what is actually inside it. Though you know what you ordered and you know exactly how it looks like, the jitters it give you when it is in your hand, is priceless. :)

Today I received this package from my cousin living in Alaska. We used to be really close then. Close would mean, I was the teacher, she was my student. I'd always bully her around and tell her she cannot spell the words correctly. Haha! She left Philippines, 10 years ago. When I saw her in facebook, I was shocked and told myself she kind of looks like more of the teacher now. Rather, professor than a student. She's all grown-up and pretty. She has this thing about make-ups that I cannot fully understand. She could put on a full on make-up without even having a glance at a mirror. She could do her rugged hair and head on for a party. I never knew she had a thing for that. Luckily she shared to me her Sephora make-up kit complete with all shades of eyeshadow, lip color, eyebrow pencil and blush. It was hard for me to carry it around minding of the size of it and weight. I had to resort to mixing up my make-up into different kits and always find myself missing some of it.

My cousin sent me a more compact kind of Sephora eyeshadow palette which has fancy colors. All the colors in it were the colors that I have always wanted. I'm dying to have those sparkly green and brown eyeshadow. She also sent me a MAC powder plus foundation. I've always tried many foundation that will match my skin tone. I was never the kind of girl who'd put much effort on make-up. The thing is, I hardly put on it. Maybe because I'd always go wrong with colors and shades. Well, it can always change. ;p

The best thing about this package is that she got me a pink Satin Lipstick from MAC too!!! :) The color is just adorable I had to try it on. :)

All-in-all I was suuuper happy with all of her pasalubongs! Thanks Kaye!

Liquor Ban!

The past week has been really bad for me, well, for Jeff as well. Things were pretty topsy-turvy as how we'd like to put it. I was in Palawan two weeks before this, Hongkong after it and expenses were kind of leaving me really really sleepless and broke. Real broke. And then some stressful thing happened in the house that I'd like to leave behind and move on. :)

On the other note, my officemates slash good friends planned to have isaw in UP. That was supposed to be just "meryenda". We found ourselves happily stuck with Pusoy, beer and pizza and forgot it was Liquor ban.

Good weekends and good friends! Liquor Ban of 2010 was nothing to us. Haha! Went home drunk and happy. :)

I remember the first time I got inspired with mixing up things. I am usually a bit of everything. I cannot try too much but I can never ever be boring. I was hesitant to have my pictures taken with me on my outfit but I realized, I want to keep in touch with what I know, I do best, art. It's a whole lot of different thing to it. Sometimes, plainly being weird about your thoughts can be art. I believe it's a freedom we are all trying to get or maybe escape with. It's a world I know best where I can just be me and be whoever I am.

Pulled my camera out of my bag and I gladly say yes to taking everything into a whole lotta new level. :)
